I wanted to post some pics and a
link to a photo gallery of a cigar event we did with
C.I.G.A.R., San Antonio's premier cigar shop on January 24, 2009. This was a great event and I was amazed at the layout of C.I.G.A.R.

Stan, Jimmy and Joe command quite a ship and it was enlightening to talk to San Antonio's smoking crowd. The food and drinks were a welcome addition as well. We tasted our limited line, the
LP-1803 (we are still backordered on our
Cabinet Selection) and the people embraced this blend. Many smokers described the blend as a mild-to-medium in strength cigar with more earthy notes (cocoa and coffee were some descriptors used).

I also have to commend the guys for a unique side event called
"AshWars." This is a mini-contest (that developed from ash-flicking wars between the staff) open to any smoker in which the contestant builds an ash and stands behind a marked line. At this time he aims for a cup (in our case, 2 pitchforks held a cup together) and flicks the ash towards the cup. The person who flicks the cigar ash in the cup wins a lottery ticket for a particular prize; during this event, only one person successfully threw an ash in the cup and won the prize.

Devil's WeedAnyhow, this was a great event and
Devil's Weed is proud to partner up with C.I.G.A.R. I hope to come back soon and party with the C.I.G.A.R. crew.
